Evenskjer Guesthouse is about 15 minutes by road from Harstad/Narvik Airport at Evenes. With private minibus transfer, free parking and self-catering rooms, it is a simple place to sleep before an early flight or after a late arrival.
Many guests land in the evening and continue to Lofoten, Vesterålen or Narvik the next morning. Others have an early departure and prefer a quiet night close to the airport instead of a long drive in the dark.
The building is a former boarding school with 10 rooms, a large shared kitchen for preparing your own meals, and free WiFi. Free parking is available on the 5,000 m² plot by Tjeldsundet, so a rental car can stay safely overnight.

If you drive yourself, the airport is about 15 minutes away and Harstad city centre about 25 minutes.
Harstad/Narvik Airport is the natural starting point for road trips into Lofoten and Vesterålen, and Evenskjer is a practical first or last night on that route. We also offer guided day tours to Harstad, Lofoten, Vesterålen and Narvik for guests who would rather leave the driving to a local.
From October to March the northern lights are often visible from the property, and from May to July the midnight sun keeps the coast light around the clock.
