10 rooms in a former boarding school
The building was once a boarding school, and the layout still works well for guests: 10 rooms along quiet corridors, shared spaces for meals and meetings, and a 5,000 m² plot by Tjeldsundet next to a historic Methodist chapel. The rooms suit individual travellers, couples, business guests and groups travelling together.
Self-catering with a large shared kitchen
Stays are self-catering. The large, fully equipped shared kitchen is the heart of the house, where guests prepare breakfast before an early flight, cook dinner after a day in Lofoten or share a meal with a group. For groups and events we can also arrange catering as part of a tailored package.
- Large fully equipped shared kitchen
- Free parking on the property
- Free WiFi throughout the building
- Conference and meeting rooms for groups
Groups, courses and longer stays
With 10 rooms under one roof, the guesthouse works well for groups on a course, a project or a tour, and for guests who need a base for several weeks. Working guests have free WiFi and meeting rooms; travellers have the coast at the door, with walks along Tjeldsundet, birdwatching at the Trøsen wetlands and fishing nearby.
Northern lights are visible from the property from October to March and the midnight sun from May to July. Guided day tours to Harstad, Lofoten, Vesterålen and Narvik and private minibus airport transfer can be added to any stay.
